The information about mobile subscriber functions and properties is all stored in the network element HLR, so it becomes increasingly important to find a suitable solution by analyzing the information on subscriber properties in HLR subscribers' data.This thesis first analyzes the characteristics of Alcatel HLR and studies how to analyze HLR subscriber data. And then according to principles of system design, the author chooses and designs different analysis programs on HLR subscriber data, and studies the analysis process and methods of HLR subscriber data by citing an example about how to increase the success rate of activating GPRS-PDP context. Finally the thesis focuses on discussing the application of Mash tool, Perl programming in the analysis of HLR subscriber data and puts forward a few directions of application research which the author thinks are of realistic value.The application of analytical method of HLR subscriber data does not only greatly improve effective monitoring of mobile subscriber properties, but also plays an improving and supportive role in the analysis of network indexes and business, and in the solution of unusual problems, which provides effective technical support for the maintenance of HLR network element and the service and competition in mobile telecom market.
